Our Customer's Testimonials

love this place. Everyone is so nice and everything is well organized and super fresh. When we don't know what to have for dinner we go here. Have gone three times in the last week: marinated rib eye, poke, and chocolate covered strawberries.

Omg, I just took a bite of the ready to grill Opakapaka!!! Ono kine grindsss!

Now I am chewing the crusted salmon we had just grilled up and I am tasting tooo much salt! :( oh well I am just going to eat this awesome Opakapaka and poke and go back for more as often as I can!!!

The meats here are really delicious and it saves you a lot of work ! All you have to do is throw them on the grill. The plate lunch and poke bowls are also superior. Be careful not to pass this place, its close to Times Market.

Friendly staff, awesome edamame & poke, GREAT wine selection, though not a big selection. One of the staff member's always helps me pick out a good wine...and he is so helpful and now I am HOOKED on one of the wine's. And I've never found that wine anywhere but Hibachi...spent a month on the mainland, too, and asked every specialty wine store and couldn't find it anywhere.
Couldn't wait to come back and have it!!! Definitely love having Hibachi in Kailua!!!

We stopped into this place for a beer after the beach and am totally amazed by what a find it is! How could I not know this place existed? As soon as we walked in the door we were offered samples of their amazing crab dip and their fresh poke options. The space is divided into two areas: first they have a glass case of poke, marinated fish and meat, and salads. The other side is devoted to coolers full of hard-to-find beers, both local and international (seriously, places that offer these options on their menu usually advertise because looking for them can send people on a quest). We grabbed a couple of poke bowls (only 7.95) after trying almost all the options (which they happily handed over) and two large beers and sat on the patio congratulating ourselves on our good luck. Afterward, we went back in for a 4-pack of coconut porter and another poke bowl to go. On Fridays they also offer $12 Hawaiian dinners to go. This place is an amazing place to pick up a great meal, deliciousness to throw on a grill for a BBQ, or to pick up some wine/beer for a dinner party. And the friendliness of the staff sent us back in for a round of thank-yous. We will definitely be back again soon.
